Hi, This is Nina

Curious what's inside? Click around to explore the pieces that make up how I think, create, and design.

Design Philosophy

Growing up, I was obsessed with Doraemona robot cat from the future sent back in time to help Nobita, an everyday kid, navigate life with an endless pocket of clever gadgets.

What fascinated me was not just how futuristic those gadgets were, but how each one could help or backfire depending on how it was used.

That tension between intention and outcome stayed with me and sparked a curiosity I have carried ever since: how do people perceive, interpret, and interact with the things designed for them, and what happens when that design gets it wrong?

Design across disciplines:

With a background in visual communication design, I learned how to make still, silent objects come alive — expressing exactly what they need to, efficiently and with purpose.

Designing at the edge of tech:

Always curious about emerging technology, I enjoy tackling visionary design challenges — prototyping with code and LLMs to test feasibility, and cross-referencing existing patterns across products to ground bold ideas in practical reality.

Designing at the edge of tech:

Fascinated by human perception and interaction, I design to humanize connections between people and technology—grounding decisions in research and psychological insight to create products that feel like seamless extensions of daily life.

More than a designer — I bring cross-functional creativity, turning abstract ideas into experiences that resonate. Here's what I work with:

Product Strategy & Research

System Thinking, Research-backed Design, Product Strategy

Spatial & Immersive Design

3D Design & CGI, XR Experience Design, Multimodal Interaction

Technical & Emerging Tech

Design Engineering, Technical Prototyping, Design for AI

Visual & Motion Craft

Brand & Visual Identity, Responsive Web Design, Motion Design

Outside of design, you'll likely find me…

Turning photos into 3D visuals (because one dimension is never enough)

Hunting down the next great meal or hidden food spot

Planning for the the next trip
